Spring Break Part 4: Ponce Inlet Marine Science Center

Since Alicia still technically was doing school along the way we decided a few of our stops had to be educationally related. Actually we probably would have done this one anyways. Even though the center there is pretty tiny it was awesome to get to see the animals and learn about them. At first Alicia was a little weary of touching the sting rays but after a bit she decided that they were her favorite thing. One amazing thing here is that they do bird and turtle rehabilitations. They also have signs up that say how the animals got hurt and you can really see how little things like cut off fishing lines etc. have an impact. It was a really amazing place and I would have loved to visit some of the other centers around Florida. (Alicia was voting on going to see Winter the dolphin - maybe next time!)
