Spring Break Part 5: KSC

Another of the educational parts of our trip was a visit to Kennedy Space Center. I think we all had a really good time. We watched their 3D tour of the International Space Station and saw lots of other fun things. The kids got to try "astronaut ice cream" and it was simply a beautiful day. Unfortunately we weren't watching the schedule on the map closely enough and missed the bus tour that would have been really cool. Both kids for a while decided they wanted to be astronauts. Although Alicia's stipulation was that she only wanted to go to the space station, she didn't want to travel out into space or even to the moon. I think Alicia's on to something else but I'm not sure about Ryan. One fun thing is that they had a model of the Orion that will be the next space vehicle.
