Welcome Butterscotch

Alicia (and Ryan) have been begging for a furry friend for a while now. For their birthday this year we decided it was about time that they could handle the responsibilities. On Ryan's birthday we made the big announcement that we could go to the local animal shelter and they could pick out a new friend.

We met a lot of adorable cats - and one really cute kitten - but there was just something about this guy that we all fell in love with. He was so sweet and affectionate and even seemed to not mind when Ryan got a little carried away with the love.

We had to wait for background checks and a final vet check before he could leave so on April 18th we got to bring him home.

Alicia named him Butterscotch Solenbaum Ostrom. He hates his crate, car rides, ceiling fans, groundhogs, and vacuums (in general he's a big fraidy kitty). He loves to eat, sleep, is super loving, and still a little frisky. He's also desperate to keep us all on a regular schedule - weekends really throw him off!
