Cakes!!!

I didn't get pictures for Alicia's 8th birthday. Actually we were late doing pretty much anything. My excuse is that it was about this time that the pregnancy started getting to me. Anyways, we had a party here with some of her friends with cake that she picked out and helped to make. That night was a dessert contest at the church and Alicia wanted to make her own cake for that as well so while we were delving into icing and batter and pre-party preparations the boys went to NY. By the end of the night Alicia had decided that there was such a thing as too many sweets though!

Fun is the most important ingredient!

Alicia made and decorated a "hill with flowers" cake for the contest
