All in all we had a nice summer. Here are some pictures of our other random summer adventures and fun ....
Yes - our kids get a little bit of inherited pyromania - we love our little bonfires.
Indoor smores - a new treat this year and now preferred over campfire smores - mostly because they like to watch as the marshmallows poof up in the microwave.
Playground time after swim lessons. We ended up missing the first two rounds but got in for the last one. Ry ended up as the only kid in his level so he got a private instructor (probably a good thing) he was really terrified of the water at first and had some moments where I wasn't sure if he would keep going but overall his teacher was really great and he gained a lot more confidence in the water. Alicia on the other hand had a huge class but ended up really shining and ended up being promoted to the next level when swim lessons start again. They both had a really good time too despite the freezing water!
